We are a group of credit union employees who meet bimonthly to network and learn together.
Our goal is to advance our People Helping People mission by fostering unity and collaboration among the credit unions in the Cedar Valley region through leadership development, education, advocacy, and community impact.
We strive to enhance awareness of credit unions within our communities and promote the credit union philosophy.

Meet our board
​Abe Ramirez
President
Abraham joined the credit union movement with Veridian in 2020 and is currently a Loan Advisor. He had the opportunity to jump deeper into the credit union movement with his involvement in the Iowa Credit Union League 2022 Iowa Innovation Group and is currently a part of Filene Research Institute’s i2 program. When he’s not helping credit union members, Abe enjoys his time at home with his family.
Amela Saric
Vice President
Amela has been with Veridian Credit Union since 2008, serving in various branch operations positions, management, as well as Community Inclusion Coordinator. She recently relocated from Waterloo to Cedar Rapids and holds the role of Regional Manager. Throughout Amela’s career, she has demonstrated an intentional and passionate focus for credit union members and the communities in which we serve. Amela enjoys cooking for friends and family, hiking, and traveling.
Riley Bruns
Treasurer
Riley joined the credit union industry in 2020 with Corda Credit Union and currently serves as Financial Assistant to the Accounting team. She is passionate about the credit union movement and is very active in her community as an Advocacy Champion, 2022 CRASH participant, and 2024 BOLD graduate. Outside of work, Riley enjoys kayaking, bowling, and cuddling with her two cats, Toby and Oliver.
Sarah Keubler
Secretary
Sarah started with Dupaco Community Credit Union in 2021, holding various roles in the retail department. She is currently a Branch Manager at one of the Cedar Rapids locations. One of her biggest passions at work is helping members and encouraging co-workers to be the best they can be! Outside of the credit union, she enjoys spending time with her husband, English bulldog, and family — especially boating and at the lake!
stasi Hamblin
Social Media & Marketing Coordinator
Stasi started her credit union journey in 2023 as a Marketing Coordinator at Corda Credit Union. With a love for helping people, her personal values perfectly align with the People Helping People philosophy and fuel her commitment to credit union mission. Stasi was a 2024 Iowa Credit Union League CRASH participant. In her leisure time, she enjoys running, watching sports, and keeping up her energetic mini dachshund.
